At the Computex 2023 exhibition currently taking place in Taipei, Acer presents new laptops in the Swift and Predator lines.

The first model is the updated Swift Edge 16 (SFE16-43). According to the manufacturer, it was created for professionals who are often on the road and who, in view of this, need powerful, productive, and portable equipment.

The Swift Edge 16 has a light and thin body (1.23 kg, 12.95 mm), while it is equipped with a powerful AMD Ryzen 7040 processor and AMD Radeon 780M graphics card. The model has a 16-inch OLED display with a ratio of 16:10, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a resolution of 3200×2000 pixels, and support for a 100% DCI-P3 color palette. The maximum brightness is 500 nits, which allowed the screen to receive the VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 specification.

The laptop is equipped with LPDDR5 RAM with a capacity of up to 32 GB and PCIe SSDs of the 4th generation – up to 2 TB. Also, the new model in the Swift Edge line supports Wi-Fi 7, which makes it possible to transmit data at a speed of up to 5.8 Gbit/s with a delay not exceeding 2 ms.

Swift Edge 16 (SFE16-43) will go on sale in Ukraine in July with a starting price of UAH 65,999.

The second model is an addition to the powerful gaming line Predator Triton 16 (PT16-51). This work-and-play laptop features up to 13th Gen Intel Core i9 processors, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 laptop graphics card, and 32GB of DDR5 RAM. The cooling system includes dual AeroBlade 3D 5th generation fans, Vortex Flow technology, and liquid metal thermal paste on the processor.

The Predator Triton 16 metal body is only 19.9 mm thick, the laptop is equipped with a 16-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2560×1600 and an aspect ratio of 16:10. The maximum brightness is 500 nits, the refresh rate is 240 Hz, there is full coverage of the DCI-P3 color space and support for NVIDIA Advanced Optimus and NVIDIA G-SYNC technologies.

The Predator Triton 16 (PT16-51) laptop will go on sale in Ukraine in September with an initial price of UAH 88,999.
