Ubisoft presented a new trailer for the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Mirage, in which you can see a little more gameplay.

We will remind you that the events of Assassin’s Creed Mirage take place in Baghdad during the Abbasid Caliphate 20 years before the events of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. The main character of the game is Basim ibn Ishaq from Valhalla. Roshan, Basim’s mentor, was played by the Iranian-American actress Shohreh Aghdashloo, known for the TV series The Expanse.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is being developed by the Ubisoft Bordeaux studio and, judging by the trailer, it’s really a return to the roots, because at times the game is very reminiscent of both the first Assassin’s Creed and Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, which also take place in the Middle East. It seems that there will be more stealth, and the game itself will become really compact. And this is good.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is released on October 12, 2023 for Windows PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One/Xbox Series X|S, and Amazon Luna. Judging by the presence of old platforms and the use of the same Ubisoft Anvil engine, the system requirements will be moderate. On the other hand, you should hardly expect next-gen graphics.
