Here is what the BMW i5 (and the BMW 5-series sedan in general) will look like

Recently, the first image of the BMW i5 electric car without camouflage appeared online. It seems that this is a screenshot from the video for the presentation of the new product, which should take place on May 24. Moreover, the BMW i5 electric car is nothing more than an electric version of the new-generation BMW 5-series sedan with the body code G60: that is, the image of the BMW i5 is 90% illustrative of the future appearance of the BMW 5-series.

It is currently known that the new “five” will significantly increase in size – the total length will be 4.94 meters. The BMW i5 electric car will receive at least two versions: the initial eDrive 40 version with a capacity of about 340 hp and the M60 with all-wheel drive and two electric motors with a total capacity of about 600 hp. Accordingly, the BMW 5-series sedan will receive traditional internal combustion engines. Production of the new “five” will begin in the summer, and sales will start in the fall of this year.
