The foldable smartphone OnePlus V Fold is credited with an 8″ display and a 50 MP camera

OnePlus is set to be the next manufacturer to launch its foldable smartphone model later this year. Until now, there was almost no information about the device on the Internet, and insiders managed to learn some technical characteristics of the device.

The OnePlus V Fold should be very similar from the technical side to the yet-to-be-announced Oppo Find N3. The smartphone will receive an 8-inch main screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. This is more than competitors Galaxy Fold4 and Pixel Fold, which have 7.6″ displays. The battery capacity will be 4805 mAh.

The OnePlus V Fold camera unit will include a 50MP Sony IMX890 main sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 32MP telephoto lens. The front camera on the external display will have a resolution of 20 MP, and the main one will have a resolution of 32 MP.

OnePlus V Fold is expected to be announced in August.
