Last year, the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max became the first Apple smartphones to receive a 48 MP camera sensor. This year, the entire iPhone 15 line should receive a module with this resolution. This was reported by Jeff Pu, an analyst at Haitong International Securities.

However, it is possible that Apple will face a shortage of camera components. This may be the reason for delaying the start of sales of the iPhone 15 and 15 Pro. Pu noted that he continues to monitor the situation, but expects that the entire iPhone 15 line will still be released in September of this year.

In addition, Pu reminds that all iPhone 15 models will receive a USB-C port. But the new A17 chipset will be installed only in the Pro versions, while the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus will be equipped with the A16 chip. As for storage capacity, the situation will not change – 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB for iPhone 15 and 15 Plus, and up to 1 TB for Pro models.
