Cyan Worlds, creators of the classic Myst adventure series, have posted the release trailer for their new game, Firmament. And it seems to be a Myst-like puzzle adventure again with a big mysterious world, colossal machines, and a lot of puzzles.

Firmament was announced back in 2019. In April 2019, Cyan Worlds held a successful Kickstarter-campaign during which it collected $1.4 million for the development of the game, which was supposed to be released in July 2020. But, as always happens with Kickstarter-games, the process was “a little” (almost 3 years) delayed.

This time, players will explore three different large worlds created in a steampunk style and solve puzzles, trying to understand what exactly happened in these mysterious abandoned buildings.

Firmament will be out for Windows 10/11 and macOS 13.3 PCs on Steam and GOG as early as May 18, 2023. The game has full VR support with Valve Index, HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, Rift S, and Quest 2 headsets.
