The Hyundai company continues to occupy new and new market niches. Among other things, launching unusual models, such as the Hyundai Exter: it will not even be a “compact crossover”, but a real “minicrossover”.
After all, it is expected that the length of the Hyundai Exter will not exceed the 4-meter mark. However, even in these compact sizes, Hyundai stylists tried to make an attractive design: it is only worth mentioning the official sketch drawing of the new product (the main photo of the news). However, in real life, the Hyundai Exter crossover doesn’t look so impressive anymore – take a look below at the first spy photos of the new model with almost no camouflage.
A few interesting details can still be found: the headlights and lights have the letter “H” inside, they are connected with each other by a contrasting strip, the rear roof rack seems to be “detached” from the main body. Will there be interesting machinery under the hood? Unlikely: the Hyundai Exter crossover should receive a simple platform from compact city cars, a naturally aspired gasoline 1.2-liter engine (83 hp), or a 1-liter turbo engine (100 hp), a gas version may appear later. As for the transmission, the Hyundai Exter car will offer only front-wheel drive, but there will be a choice between manual and automatic.
The full-fledged debut of the Hyundai Exter car is expected already in the summer of this year. Then there will also be more detailed information on dimensions, technology and equipment, sales markets.
