Google continues to improve the Google TV platform. The company has started distributing another update that should improve its performance.

The new App Hibernation feature will automatically hibernate apps that haven’t been used for more than 30 days (on Android S devices and later). This innovation first appeared in Android 12, allowing you to free up space on the built-in storage without completely deleting the application.

Using the Android App Bundle will reduce the size of apps on Google TV by about 25%. This will add some more free space to your device and allow you to install more apps.

In addition, the update reduces the time it takes to wake Google TV from sleep mode, the response time to pressing buttons on the remote control, and the time you see the loading animation when the device restarts.
