20th Century Studios presented the trailer for Kenneth Branagh’s third film about Hercule Poirot – A Haunting in Venice.
This is a continuation of the movies Murder on the Orient Express and Death on the Nile and the role the legendary detective will once again be performed by Kenneth Branagh himself. In addition to him, Michelle Yeoh, Jamie Dornan, Tina Fey, Kelly Reilly, Riccardo Scamarcio and Camille Cotten starred in the film.
The script of the film is based on Agatha Christie’s novel Hallowe’en Party (1968), but its events were moved from London to Venice. And the trailer for some reason is more reminiscent of a Japanese horror film than a traditional detective story.
A Haunting in Venice will be released in the US on September 15, 2023.
