On the eve of the release of the game, Bethesda and the developers of Arkane Austin published the system requirements for their new brainchild – Redfall. According to the available data, the upcoming co-op shooter with a vampire setting has relatively moderate requirements for the configuration of gaming PCs.

Redfall specifications PC

The minimum requirements are 6-core Core i5-8400 or Ryzen 5 1600 processors, Radeon RX 580 or GeForce GTX 1070 level graphics cards. Although both of these adapters have 8 GB of memory, the specifications state that 6 GB is sufficient. As for RAM, the minimum is 16 GB.

The recommended configurations include 8-core chips – Core i7-9700K and Ryzen 7 2700X. Video cards – Radeon RX 5700 8 GB and GeForce RTX 2080 8 GB. Intel ARC graphics adapters belong to the same category, apparently referring to the older models of the A770/A750 8 GB series. RAM capacity is 16 GB.

The specified Core i7-9700K and Ryzen 7 2700X processors should be enough for the game with maximum settings, but the graphics subsystem will need to be upgraded to Radeon RX 6800 XT 16 GB or GeForce RTX 3080 10 GB. It is also advisable to equip the system with 32 GB of RAM and use Windows 11. In all cases, 100 GB of free space on the SSD will be needed to install Redfall.

Note that the developers do not specify the resolution of the graphics modes or expected performance for the listed configurations. Therefore, the real picture with game optimization will become known already after the launch. For now, you can watch the official release trailer to experience the atmosphere of the game from the developers of Prey and Dishonored. Have you kept your grip?

Redfall will be launched on May 2 simultaneously for the Xbox Series X|S and PC platforms. If we analyzed the requirements for the latter, it may come as a surprise to console owners that initially the game will only work in a mode with a limit of 30 fps. Moreover, 4K resolution will be available for Xbox Series X, while 1440p will be available for Xbox Series S. The developers promise to add the 60 fps mode, which was announced earlier and is even mentioned on the disc boxes, later after additional optimizations.

Well, so that PC owners don’t relax either, Denuvo protection system will be used for Redfall. Yes, we know that many people “like” it.
