Honkai: Star Rail – a sci-fi turn-based RPG from the creators of Genshin Impact

Today, April 26, 2023, Honkai: Star Rail is released – a new game from miHoYo studio, the authors of Genshin Impact, who now publish their games under the HoYoverse brand.

Honkai: Star Rail is the fourth part in Honkai’s sci-fi game series, but unlike the previous Honkai Impact 3rd, it’s a turn-based jRPG. Although traditional miHoYo elements of the gacha genre seem to have remained. Star Rail in the name is a reference to the space train that can jump between the stars. And Honkai is the name of the main thieves in the series who want to destroy civilization.

As usual with miHoYo, Honkai: Star Rail is a free-to-play game with micropayments. The RPG is currently available on Windows PC (game website and Epic Games Store), Android and iOS. PlayStation 4 / 5 version is coming later. All download links are on the official website of the game.

Another game from miHoYo may be released a little later this year, a cyberpunk action/RPG with a very unfortunate name – Zenless Zone Zero.
