Valve has released a major Dota 2 update called New Frontiers. It contains a new map that is 40% larger than the previous one, and it should cause significant changes in the Dota 2 metagame.

“The core objective of the game remains the same,” assures Valve — “your lanes aren’t further away from each other, and everything you need to win is still in the center of the map.”
