The official debut of the RAM 1500 REV electric pickup took place, thanks to which all the technical specifications and features of the model became known.
Most importantly, the maximum version of the RAM 1500 REV electric car will be offered with a 229 kWh battery, which will provide an autonomous range of up to 800 km. Although the basic version will receive a smaller battery: “only” 168 kWh and a range of 564 km.
Installation of such large batteries became possible thanks to the use of the STLA Frame platform and reinforced construction: a real pickup truck! In addition, the RAM 1500 REV electric car can boast of two electric motors, each of which has a power of 250 kW (340 hp) – this is enough to accelerate to a hundred km in about 4.5 seconds.
Among other features of the RAM 1500 REV model, it is worth noting the support for power supply technology with a voltage of 800 volts and the possibility of charging with a capacity of 350 kW – that is, in 10 minutes you can add electricity for 170-180 km of mileage.
And the RAM 1500 REV pickup is distinguished by certain features in the interior.
For example, it became the first in its class to offer an additional display for the passenger (diagonal 10.25 inches). In addition, there are two more displays (12.3 and 14.5 inches) used as instrument panels and for controlling the multimedia system.
In addition, the RAM 1500 REV model even provides power outlets. They can be used to connect household appliances or charge other electric vehicles – after all, the size of the batteries allows it to be done.
