For the third time, Lego releases a fighter model T-65 X-Wing Starfighter. This iteration is the most detailed yet. The set consists of 1949 parts and is valued at $239.99, which quite allows it to be included in the company of such “heavyweights” from the Ultimate Collector Series as the Millenium Falcon (7541 parts) and AT-AT (6785 parts).
X-Wing Starfighter dimensions: 27x44x55 cm. The set includes two minifigures – Luke Skywalker and R2-D2. There is also a stand on which the technical characteristics of the rebel fighter are indicated. The novelty will go on sale on May 4, the day of Star Wars.
In addition, Lego announced two new dioramas depicting scenes from Episode IV of Return of the Jedi, which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. The first is Emperor Palpatine’s throne room , the second is Luke Skywalker flying through the trees on a speeder. The sets cost $99.99 (807 pieces) and $79.99 (608 pieces), respectively. Both will go on sale on May 1.
