Sony announced a new model of wireless earbuds WF-C700N. The company claims that the novelty is much more comfortable to wear compared to the WF-C500, due to the fact that the earbuds have become more compact and lighter. Also, the WF-C700N has IPX4 moisture protection.

One of the main features of the Sony WF-C700N is support for the company’s active noise cancellation system. The Ambient Sound mode is also provided, which allows you to hear some sounds of the surrounding environment while listening to music. Another useful feature is the Multipoint mode for simultaneous connection to two sound sources via Bluetooth 5.2. However, its support will be available in the summer with the release of one of the updates.

5 mm drivers are responsible for sound reproduction. There is support for AAC and SBC codecs, and DSEE technology. The battery life of the WF-C700N is up to 7.5 hours with ANC on and up to 10 hours without it. Together with the case, the working time is up to 15 hours.

The Sony WF-C700N will be available in black, white or purple. The price of the earbuds is $119.99 / €129.99.
