For the first time, the electric SUV Fisker Ocean was presented more than two years ago. The production of electric cars started last fall, and now the model is preparing to enter the European market.
Among other things, the Fisker Ocean electric SUV had to pass certain certification tests. In the end, range testing gave a somewhat unexpected, but pleasant result. The Fisker Ocean electric SUV became a record holder among the models officially presented on the European market – the promised mileage reserve is 707 km according to the WLTP rules.
Of course, this figure was obtained for the Fisker Ocean Extreme version, which has a large 100 kWh battery and four-wheel drive thanks to two electric motors. The total power in this case is about 560 “horses”, and acceleration from 0-100 km/h takes only 3.5 seconds.
In addition, simpler versions are also provided – for example, the basic version of Fisker Ocean offers only front-wheel drive and 280 hp. However, it costs relatively little, as for a modern 4.8-meter electric SUV: the expected cost of Fisker Ocean in Europe is from 39,000 euros; the cost of the maximum version of Fisker Ocean Extreme is from 67,000 euros.
