The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will be released on May 25

After a long development process, The Lord of the Rings: Gollum finally got a release date. Based on JRR Tolkien’s fantasy, the stealth action game will be available to players on May 25 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X. The Switch version will be released later this year.

You will learn the story of Gollum’s search for his treasure, which takes place during the first few chapters of The Fellowship of the Ring. Gollum is clearly not a great fighter, so you’ll have to sneak and climb to survive. However, the battle inside his mind plays a key role. You must choose between succumbing to Gollum’s dark impulses or clinging to Sméagol’s remnants of kindness.

Let me remind you that The Lord of the Rings: Gollum was presented back in 2019. At that time, the game was planned to be ready in 2021. The release was later pushed back to September 2022, however, developer Daedalic needed extra time to get things right.
