Samsung presented the Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A34 – successors to one of the most popular mid-range smartphones. In particular, this applies to the Galaxy A5x models, which have been offering good value for money for several years.
Both new products received a design in the style of flagship smartphones Galaxy S23 і S23+. The smartphones are equipped with Super AMOLED displays with a Full HD+ resolution, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness of up to 1000 nits. The diagonal of the screen in the Galaxy A54 is 6.4″, in the Galaxy A34 – 6.6″. The devices have IP67 protection against moisture, batteries with a capacity of 5000 mAh and support for 25 W wired charging.
The camera unit in the Galaxy A54 consists of a 50 MP main sensor (f/1.8), a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle camera (f/2.2), and a 5 MP macro camera (f/2.4). There is also a front-facing 32 MP camera (f/2.2). Galaxy A34 received a 48 MP main module (f/1.8), an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera (f/2.2) and a 5 MP macro camera (f/2.4). The front camera has a resolution of 13 MP.
Inside the Galaxy A54 is a 5nm Exynos 1380 chipset, while the Galaxy A34 has a 6nm Dimensity 1080 chip. Both devices are offered in configurations with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage (there are also microSD card slots). Samsung promises the release of Android updates for devices for a period of up to four years and security patches for a period of up to five years.
The Galaxy A34 is available in Lime, Graphite, Purple and Silver. The smartphone costs €390 in the 6/128 GB version and €460 in the 8/256 GB version.
The Galaxy A54 is available in Lime, Graphite, Purple and White. The price is €490 for the 6/128 GB version and €550 for the 8/256 GB version.
