What was previously only speculated about, is now confirmed. Namely, the Porsche company will release a large electric SUV, which will be located one step above the Porsche Cayenne model. This became known at one of the company’s recent presentations, where the model range of Porsche in the near future was announced.

Currently, the new Porsche electric car is codenamed K1. Initially, it was expected that the new SUV will have a 7-seater interior. However, at the moment, considering the silhouette of the body, the novelty is more like the successor of the Porsche Cayenne Coupe.

The production version of the Porsche K1 is expected in 2027. The new electric SUV should compete with Aston Martin DBX, Lamborghini Urus, and Bentley Bentayga. It is interesting that the last two super crossovers are “relatives” of the VAG automotive group – that is, the German concern is trying to “close” the niche of ultra-expensive cars and electric cars as carefully as possible.
