Carscoops tells about tests of the new Hyundai Sonata sedan in winter conditions. Unfortunately, the car was carefully hidden under camouflage. But this is the case when it was possible to learn more about the equipment inside than about the design features from the outside.
Among the most interesting points is the use of a 2.5 GDI engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Such a combination will frankly please those who are tired of small-volume “turbos” and AMTs. And the potential presence of AWD (this designation was on the test prototype) only adds additional points to the new Hyundai Sonata sedan in the eyes of customers.
Among the other changes that managed to be noticed is a new front panel in then interior with an elongated display (or two, combined under one glass). We will be able to learn all the features of the interior and exterior of the new Hyundai Sonata during the official debut, which is expected by the end of this year.
