The Honor brand held its event at the MWC 2023 exhibition, which is currently taking place in Barcelona. During the presentation, global versions of Magic Vs and Magic 5 Pro smartphones were presented.

Honor Magic Vs is the brand’s first foldable smartphone that will be available outside of China. Its concept is similar to Samsung Galaxy Fold4, but the body is thinner, and when folded, there is no gap between the halves of the display.

The smartphone received a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, a 5000 mAh battery and support for 66 W charging. The external OLED screen has a diagonal of 6.45″, a resolution of 2560×1080 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. Specifications of the internal OLED display: 7.9″, 2272×1984 pixels, 90 Hz.

The camera unit consists of a main 54 MP IMX800 sensor, a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle camera and an 8 MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. Both displays also have 16MP front-facing cameras.

Honor Magic 5 Pro is the flagship of the brand in a classic form factor. The 6.81″ OLED LTPO display has a resolution of 2848×1312 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. Inside the smartphone is a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of built-in memory.

The block of three 50 MP camera modules includes a standard, ultra-wide-angle (122 degrees) and telephoto (3.5x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom) cameras. The dual front camera consists of a 12 MP module and a 3D depth sensor. The battery capacity is 5100 mAh, 66 W wired charging and 50 W wireless charging are supported. The phone is protected against moisture and dust according to class IP68.

Honor introduced Magic Vs and Magic 5 Pro smartphones

As for the cost of the new items, Magic Vs starts at €1,599 and will be available for purchase later this year. The price of Magic 5 Pro starts at €1199, the smartphone will go on sale in the second quarter of the year.
