The new generation of Apple smartphones should receive improvements that relate to the specifications and amount of RAM. iPhone 15 Pro models are expected to be equipped with 8 GB of RAM. For comparison, the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max each have 6 GB of RAM.

The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will each have 6GB of RAM, but Apple can install faster memory, such as LPDDR5, which is used in the Pro models.

Increasing the amount of RAM will have a positive effect on smartphones’ multitasking, users will be able to keep more applications open at the same time. Together with the new A17 Bionic chipset, this will increase the overall performance of devices.

Let us remind you that the last time Apple added RAM to its smartphones was in 2020 when the iPhone 12 Pro received 6 GB of RAM.
