The ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) brand announces the start of sales in Ukraine of the first 18-inch ROG gaming series laptop – ROG Strix SCAR 18.

As the company notes, the new model was primarily created for eSports enthusiasts. The device is equipped with a flagship Intel Core i9-13980HX processor of the 13th generation with 24 cores and 32 threads, as well as an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 laptop graphics card with a maximum graphics power (TGP) of 175 W, and a special MUX Switch multiplexer and NVIDIA Advanced Optimus technology will help use the full potential of the GPU during the game. Available memory configurations include up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM and up to 4TB of PCIe Gen4x4 storage.

It’s also the first ROG laptop to feature an 18-inch QHD panel with a 240Hz refresh rate. It has 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space, a maximum brightness of 500 cd/m², support for Dolby Vision HDR and NVIDIA G-SYNC technologies, and a response time of only 3 ms.

The ROG Strix SCAR 18 audio system supports Dolby Atmos virtual surround sound technology and consists of two high-frequency speakers and two more downward-firing low-frequency speakers.

The laptop has a battery with a capacity of 90 Wh and supports charging through the Type-C port with a power of up to 100 W. The dimensions of the laptop are 399x294x30.8 mm, weight – 3.1 kg. As for the price, the configuration ROG Strix SCAR 18 (G834) with an Intel Core i9-13980HX processor, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPU for laptops, 32 GB of RAM and two SSDs (1 GB each) is already available in Ukraine at a recommended price of 179 999 UAH.
