After the good results that the diesel version of the GV70 SUV began to show, Genesis decided that the time had come for an electric model. By the way, this is the first electric car of the brand, which will be assembled in the USA.

In general, the GV70 is the third electric car in the Genesis lineup. It received two electric motors, which together generate up to 429 hp during normal driving and up to 483 hp in boost mode. When charging from 350 kW / 800V, only 18 minutes of charging will be enough to replenish the charge from 10% to 80%.

The interior of the SUV fully corresponds to the positioning of Genesis as a premium brand. The multimedia display has a diagonal of 14.5″, and the digital cluster in front of the driver is 12.3″. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are supported. A package of safety systems is provided, which includes an all-round camera and automatic parking assistant.

The cost of the Genesis Electrified GV70 starts at $65,850 for the Advanced AWD version. The Prestige AWD variant will cost from $72,650. Competitors of the SUV in this price segment will be Rivian R1S (from $73,000), BMW iX (from $85,000), Audi e-tron (from $70,800), and others.
