In June of last year, Apple presented a new generation of the CarPlay car system. The company wants the new CarPlay to get deeper integration with various car systems, effectively replacing the standard software from automakers.

With the help of CarPlay, it will be possible to control the air conditioner, radio, seat heating, and ventilation, display various widgets, view information from the speedometer, tachometer, odometer, check the fuel level or battery charge. The system will be available not only on the screen of the multimedia system but also on the digital cluster in front of the driver.

Apple says that the first cars with support for the updated CarPlay should be announced this year. Currently, we know about 14 brands that want to finalize the system in their cars:
