Apple most often informs users about individual cases of security problems in release notes to operating system updates with fixes for these problems. macOS Ventura 13.2.1, iPadOS 16.3.1, and iOS 16.3.1 are just such a case.

New updates released last night close a vulnerability in WebKit that could have been used to execute arbitrary code. According to the company, it is “aware of reports that this issue may have been actively exploited.”

Among other fixes, you can find a “repaired” request to Find My through Siri, fixed errors with iCloud settings, and improved Crash Detection on new iPhone 14 models, due to which false alarms have recently caused a lot of problems, for example, during a winter skiing vacation.
