A new batch of insiders from analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. This time the information concerns Apple’s audio gadgets. He says that in the second half of 2024, mass production of the new AirPods Max model, the second generation HomePod mini and the new budget AirPods will begin. The delivery of the new products is expected to start in late 2024 or in the first half of 2025.

As a reminder, AirPods Max were released in December 2020. So the release of the updated model at the end of 2024 will mean that the company’s top headphones have a four-year life cycle. The HomePod mini debuted a month early in November 2020. A year later, Apple added new color options for the gadget, and recently the company activated sensors that measure temperature and humidity in the room.

But budget AirPods (possible name AirPods Lite) should become a new product in the line of Apple headphones. It will be a simpler version of the current AirPods model, which will be sold at a price of $99.
