Ryzen 7000X3D prices and sales start dates: now official

The top 16-core model Ryzen 9 7950X3D and the 12-core chip Ryzen 9 7900X3D will go on sale on February 28. The flagship has the same recommended price as the starting price for the classic model Ryzen 9 7950X – $699. While the Ryzen 9 7900X3D processor is valued by the developer at $599, which is $50 more than the initial price of the Ryzen 9 7900X ($549).

Currently, the retail price of the Ryzen 9 7950X in Ukraine is ~$650, while the Ryzen 9 7900X can be purchased for $450. So it is obvious that the actual cost of chips with 3D V-Cache will be higher.

As for the very interesting 8-core model Ryzen 7 7800X3D, its appearance will have to wait until April 6. That’s when the youngest processor of the line will hit the shelves. The recommended price is $449, which is $50 more than the starting price of the Ryzen 7 7700X. However, the latter can already be purchased for the equivalent of $350. So the justification for purchasing a version with an increased L3 buffer remains to be seen.
