Currently, there are two versions of the Mazda2 car in the world – a more modern European one (a Toyota Yaris clone) and the original Japanese one, which has been produced for about eight years. However, the latter is not going to leave the stage yet, confirmed by another update.

The most noticeable change for the Mazda2 is a completely new “nose”: a front bumper, a lower grille, and a solid “cap” instead of an upper grille. Although, by the way, the Sport version has kept the traditional grille solution.

And the Mazda2 Sport stands out with its original interior with red stitching. Other versions of the updated Mazda2 model received new colored panel inserts in the cabin.

Although in general, we have an ordinary compact class car. A 1.5-liter gasoline engine (110-116 hp) or turbodiesel (105 hp) is installed under the hood. Customers are offered a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission with the same number of gears.

However, the most interesting numbers in the description of the Mazda2 car are its price on the local Japanese market – from $12,000. Would you buy it?
