Pathaan – the Indian Mission Impossible

The Pathaan movie, a kind of Bollywood version of Mission Impossible, is conquering the Indian movie theatres.

You can laugh all you want at Indian cinema, but it seems that it has taken a significant step forward in terms of the quality of effects and staging of fights. At least look at the trailer of Pathaan.

In addition, the film, which was released on the big screens five days ago, is doing very well at the box office and has already earned $67.84 million, doubling its own budget. What’s more, Pathaan, in the absence of other big releases in 2023, even made it to the 4th line of the global box office.

Pathaan stars famous Indian actors Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham and Dimple Kapadia. The film is directed by Siddharth Anand.

Currently, Pathaan is only 15th in the list of highest-grossing Indian films, but its distribution has only just begun. In the first place, grossing $338 million, is the Dangal biographical sports drama (2016) about Geeta Phogat.
