At the CES 2023 exhibition, ASUS presented updates to the popular ROG Zephyrus G14, Zephyrus M16 models, and a completely new ROG Zephyrus G16 gaming laptop, which replaced its predecessor – the G15.
The ROG Zephyrus G14 is a 14-inch laptop with a QHD ROG Nebula HDR panel that uses a Mini LED matrix, has a refresh rate of 165 Hz, an aspect ratio of 16:10, and is Pantone Validated. For younger versions of the laptop, options with QHD 165 Hz and Full HD 144 Hz panels will be offered.
ROG Zephyrus G14 received an AMD Ryzen 9 Zen 4 processor, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series graphics card with a maximum power (TGP) of 125 W, MUX Switch and NVIDIA Advanced Optimus technologies.
The model has also updated the cooling system: the central and graphics processors are connected to the evaporation chamber, liquid metal is applied to the processor, and two Arc Flow fans with 84 blades help dissipate heat. The 76 Wh battery should provide a good level of battery life.
In addition to the updated ROG Zephyrus M16, another 16-inch model, the G16, will appear in the Zephyrus line. It will have a similar design and specifications, but will differ in some simplifications against the background of the M16 flagship.
In the maximum configuration, the ROG Zephyrus G16 has a 13th generation Intel Core i9-13900H processor, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series graphics card with a maximum power (TGP) of 120 W, MUX Switch and NVIDIA Advanced Optimus technologies.
