Xbox Game Pass 2022: 220 new games worth $7,173

Polish media XGP.pl calculated the value and number of games added to Xbox Game Pass during 2022. It turned out an impressive number of 220 games, the total cost of which is $7,173.

On average, Microsoft added 18 games to Xbox Game Pass each month. The most in September 2022 – 25 games at once. The cost of the games was calculated by XGP.pl journalists based on the prices in the American Xbox Store as of December 24, 2022.

The media conducted by same analysis and 2021, then the total cost of new games in Xbox Game Pass was $6,317 per year.

According to analysis by Polygon for 2022, Sony has only provided 37 free games worth $1,305 to PlayStation Plus Essential players (as of December 27, 2022).
