Ford is launching a new version of the Puma model: the car with the long name Ford Puma Vivid Ruby Edition tries to combine an attractive design with sporty hints. The perfect mix for trendy fitness fans!
First: the new Ford Puma Vivid Ruby Edition SUV will receive a dark lilac color reminiscent of the once very popular Hot Magenta shade. Secondly: such a car is distinguished by “sporty” bumpers and overlays on the wheel arches, as in the ST-Line version – but here they are painted in black. Third: special 18-inch wheels are used. Finally, the fourth difference is the high level of equipment: digital 12.3-inch instrument panel and 8-inch touch screen, B&O audio system, heated steering wheel, etc.
The Ford Puma Vivid Ruby Edition SUV is equipped with a 1-liter gasoline engine with a capacity of 125 or 155 hp. (with Mild Hybrid technology), you can also choose a transmission: a six-speed manual or a 7-speed robotic DCT. However, it is not possible to choose the type of drive – only front drive wheels. In addition, the manufacturer thought about the suspension settings in advance: for the version of Ford Puma Vivid Ruby Edition, only sports suspension from ST-Line is offered.
The cost of such a car is $36,000-39,000, depending on the combination of engine, transmission, and additional options. I wonder how much the electric version of the Ford Puma will cost, which should appear in 2024 – at the same time, with the renewal of the Ford Puma model in general.
