Technical director and co-owner of Baykar Selcuk Bayraktar posted a new Baykar UAV video on Twitter of Bayraktar Kızılelma, where the prototype of the future unmanned jet fighter makes its first runway run.

A test run on the runway is the expected stage of the aircraft’s tests after the tests with an integrated engine carried out in September 2022. That is, the development of Baykar Bayraktar Kızılelma is going according to plan and, as expected, the UAV will make its first flight in the first quarter of 2023.

As a reminder, the Bayraktar Kızılelma jet UAV will be produced in two configurations: the subsonic MIUS-A with the Ivchenko-Progress AI-25TLT engine, and the supersonic MIUS-B with the Ivchenko-Progress AI-322F or TF-6000 from the Turkish company TEI ( Tusaş Engine Industries).
