The first gameplay trailer of the Ukrainian game Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened

The Kyiv studio Frogwares presented the first gameplay trailer of the adventure Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened, a remake of their own 2006 game.

The game is scheduled for release in February 2023 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, GoG), and for now players can enjoy new graphics and some elements of gameplay familiar to fans of the series.

As a reminder, Frogwares conducted a successful Kickstarter campaign where they raised €252,000 for the development of Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened. This is 360% of the original goal. Some additional features were funded, such as a player progress tracking system with additional rewards; the ability to play part of the game as Dr. Watson; extended soundtrack in the style of Lovecraft/Holmes; extended NPC dialogues and realistic game object physics.

We wish the authors the best of luck and hope that the game will reach players without unnecessary delays despite the problem with electricity in Kyiv.
