As reported on official website, the new version of Sony’s VR headset – PlayStation VR2, should go on sale on February 22, 2023.

The cost of the basic version will be $550 / €600 / £530 / ¥75,000: it will include the VR headset itself, as well as PS VR2 Sense controllers and stereo headphones.

Sony will also offer a Horizon Call of the Mountain bundle for $600 / €650 / £570 / ¥80,000.

The PS VR2 Sense controller charging station will be sold separately ($50 / €50 / £40 / ¥5,500) – without it, the controllers will need to be plugged into the console’s USB ports for charging.

In some countries (USA, Great Britain, France, Germany, etc.) pre-order in the official online store direct.playstation .com will be available from November 15, in other countries the PlayStation VR2 will be sold by Sony partners, who should also accept pre-orders starting from the same date.

Also Sony announced 11 new VR games, including horror shooter The Dark Pictures: Switchback VR, shooter Crossfire : Sierra Squad, city-building simulator Cities VR – Enhanced Edition, the next part of another horror Hello Neighbor: Search and Rescue, MMO Zenith: The Last City, cooperative shooter After The Fall and others.
