Ukraine delivered to the USA one of the satellites that the SpaceX company will soon launch into space. The cargo was moved in cooperation with the logistics company Bollore Logistics Space on board the An-124-100-150 aircraft.

The cargo weighs 50 tons, including the 14.69 m long, 5.45 m wide, and 4.22 m high container, designed by Airbus Defense and Space specifically for the safe transfer of these types of satellites to the Space Center.

The satellite arrived in the USA on board the Ukrainian Ruslan plane, Antonov Airlines reported on Twitter.

“ANTONOV Airlines has transported civil telecommunication satellite on board one of its AN-124-100-150 aircraft from Toulouse, France, to NASA Shuttle Landing Facility in Titusville, USA, to be launched by the US aerospace company SpaceX” the message says.

To load and unload the CTH04 container, an external crane was used in combination with an on-board crane and an An-124-100-150 winch, as well as special loading equipment developed and manufactured by the engineers of Antonov State Enterprise.

We remind you that Hostomel airport was one of the first to suffer at the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine.
