Motor1 tells about the new electric car record: a compact and light car from the GreenTeam student team set a world record for acceleration from 0-100 km/h – only 1.461 seconds.

The electric car with the complex name E0711-11 EVO is not distinguished by an attractive design or a super-powerful engine: inside, a 180 kW (241 hp) electric motor and a battery with a capacity of 7.67 kWh are hidden. However, the electric sports car from GreenTeam is distinguished by its lightness – only 173 kg. This result was achieved thanks to the extensive use of carbon: the entire cockpit is made of it. And the electric car has four-wheel drive and slick tires, which helped to eliminate possible skidding at the start. Here’s a record for you! See the video below.
