As Carscoops reports, Fiat is already working on the next-generation 500X model. Let’s remind: Fiat 500X is a compact crossover that belongs to the B-SUV segment and can have front or all-wheel drive.

But it seems that the new Fiat 500X will not be so compact. After all, if the current model has a length of about 4.25 meters, then the new Fiat 500X will receive a 4.4-meter body with a design in the style of the current Fiat 500 model.

In addition, the Fiat 500X crossover should move to the CMP/eCMP platform. On the one hand, this means only front-wheel drive and a 3-cylinder 1.2-liter gasoline “turbo”. But on the other hand, this means the possibility of an electric version: power 136-154 hp, battery 50-54 kWh.

However, note: the first information is always guesswork and assumptions. We will find out what will become of this reality closer to 2024 when the new Fiat 500X is scheduled to debut.
