Only a month ago there was an announcement of a new Lenovo business laptop: ThinkBook 16p of the second generation (Gen 2), and here is a new announcement, this time ThinkBook 16p Gen 3. The company itself calls it the optimal solution for small and medium-sized businesses.
So, the new productive ThinkBook is equipped with a processor up to the AMD Ryzen 9 6000 series H (we remind, in the second generation the top processor was the AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX) and discrete graphics NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060. A 16-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2.5K can be with one of two options: with a maximum brightness of 400 nits and a refresh rate of 60 Hz, or a higher-quality panel with a brightness of 500 nits, HDR400 support and a frequency of 165 Hz. Both display options are X-Rite Pantone certified and support Dolby Vision content.
The maximum capacity of the RAM is 32 GB, the internal storage is up to 2 TB of dual PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage. The battery with a capacity of 71 W*h, according to the manufacturer, is able to ensure the autonomous operation of the ThinkBook 16p Gen 3 for a whole day. The laptop is equipped with two USB-C connectors (one of them is USB4), two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 and HDMI 2.1. The dimensions of the case are 354.6x252x19.5 mm, weight – 1.99 kg.
