The Twitter account of coach Ted Lasso from the series Ted Lasso published a photo of actor Jason Sudeikis getting scanned for some video game.

“Look out, Mario! You’re not the only pixelated man with a mustache who never knows where the tube is taking him…” the message reads.

Tube here is the tube that Mario jumps into in video games at the end of a level and the TV that shows the Ted Lasso series.

This photo added fuel to the rumors that FIFA 23 will feature the fictional club AFC Richmond from the series (it even has its own official Twitter) managed by Ted Lasso himself. Would not be bad.

There is no official start date for the third season of Ted Lasso yet, but Ted Lasso should be back by the end of the year. But FIFA 23 will go on sale in a week on September 30, 2022.
