The Ukrainian military posted a photo against the background of another captured Russian tank. What is interesting about it is that it is an ancient T-62, a tank that, despite several upgrades, was considered scrap metal back in the Gulf War of 1990-91, that is, 30 years ago. The photo with the artifact trophy was published by journalist Andrii Tsaplienko.

It became known about the shipment of T-62M and T-62MVU tanks removed from storage to Ukraine in May 2022. They were supposed to equip reserve battalion tactical groups.

The T-62A tank, also known as “Object 165”, was adopted by the Soviet Army in 1962, but it has a lot in common with the T-54/T-55 tank, which entered service back in 1947.

Well, it’s not far from the T-10/IS-5, IS-4, and so, finally, to the “Victory tank” T-34. Come on, throw them off the pedestals, we know you want to!
