The Volkswagen company presented its new concept car in the form of the Volkswagen ID.XTREME electric car. It is built on the basis of the Volkswagen ID.4 GTX, but it has some distinctive features. For example, increased clearance and rally suspension, off-road rubber and 18-inch wheels, power protection of the front bumper, and additional lighting. So, everything looks as if a rally version of an electric car has been created in the form of the Volkswagen ID.XTREME.

If not for one feature: a significant increase in power – up to 285 kW or 388 “horses”, which is 65 kW more than the production model Volkswagen ID.4 GTX. At the same time, the increase in power was achieved both by refining the rear electric motor and by improving the “software” of the control. Thus, the Volkswagen company seems to hint that the abilities of the ID.4 have not yet been fully used. And if we consider the line of traditional models – for example, Golf, Golf GTI, Golf R – then we want to ask: are we really going to get the Volkswagen ID.4 R-version? The Volkswagen ID.XTREME concept car hints that this is possible.
