All mice are equipped with the new Hero 25K sensor with a maximum resolution of 25,600 DPI and new LIGHTFORCE optical-mechanical hybrid switches – according to the manufacturer, they combine the speed, reliability and durability of “optics” with the feeling of activation thanks to the mechanical “click”. LIGHTFORCE uses galvanic contact parts inside the switch that work just like mechanical ones.
The G502 X features a new DPI change button under the thumb, which the user can rotate 180° or even remove if it bothers them, and an updated wheel that is more stable and lighter than its predecessor.
The wired mouse weighs only 89 g, the wireless mouse weighs 100 g (G502 X LIGHTSPEED) and 106 g (G502 X PLUS). All models are offered in two color options, white or black. Both wireless mice are finally equipped with USB-C connectors – it seems that the era of micro-USB in mice is finally coming to an end. They differ from each other, apparently, only by the presence of RGB lighting in the top version. Battery life is declared at the level of 140 hours for G502 X LIGHTFORCE and 120 hours – G502 X PLUS (without backlight).
The Logitech G502 X line is already available for order on the official website, the price for the wired model is €79.99, for the G502 X LIGHTSPEED – €149.00, and for the G502 X PLUS – €169.00.
