Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, a role-playing anime series by CD Projekt Red and the Japanese studio Studio Trigger Cyberpunk 2077 has received a new NSFW trailer and release date. The show, which has 10 episodes, will appear on Netflix on September 13, 2022.
The trailer is NSFW not because it has nudity (it does), but because it has more than your weekly dose of strobes and flashing images. And the soundtrack for the anime trailer is somewhat unusual, Beethoven’s Ode to Joy has never been added to such a video sequence.
We remind that Cyberpunk: Edgerunners tells the story of David Martinez, a guy from the streets who tries to survive in a city of the future obsessed with technology and body modifications. After a personal tragedy, David decides to take control of his own destiny by becoming an Edgerunner mercenary.
The trailer, as it should be, is in Japanese, but there are subtitles.
