Dark 2D metroidvania/soulslike Moonscars by Black Mermaid Studio, has received a release date. The game will be released on Windows PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox One on September 27, 2022. So add it to your wishlist.
As a reminder, Moonscars is a hardcore slasher with metroidvania elements and a focus on the combat system, with a minimum of platforming. The story of the game tells about Gray Irma, who is looking for her crazy creator to reveal the secret of her own existence.
The game was developed by only three people: game designer and screenwriter Andrii Moroz (Kyiv, Ukraine), programmer Oleksandr Romanchuk (Chișinău, Moldova) and artist Shtefan Semyonov (Chișinău, Moldova).
Unfortunately, the authors do not have time to prepare the Ukrainian localization for release, for which they apologize to domestic players. But the Ukrainian language in Moonscars will definitely appear sometime after the game’s release. Please note, there is no Russian in the list of game languages, it looks like it is becoming a good tradition.
