By the beginning of the academic year, the Ministry of Digital Transfomation plans to provide high-speed Internet access to educational institutions. For this purpose, kindergartens, schools, colleges, and vocational schools will receive the necessary equipment free of charge. The project will be implemented jointly with the MES and telecom companies, notifies the Ministry.

Educational institutions that need Wi-Fi and providers that can help with equipment can join the project.

  • To get high-speed Internet for shelter, a representative of the educational institution must submit an application to the Ministry of Digital Transformation by filling out the form at the link.
  • To help equip a Wi-Fi access point in the shelters of educational institutions, a provider or a socially responsible company can apply at the link.

Later, they plan to create a dashboard where the number of applications can be monitored in real time.

Currently, the Ministry of Digital Transformation has the first 2,500 routers and 1,000 modems that will be sent to educational institutions. Technical companies and Internet providers are invited to join the project.

“Shelter and high-quality Internet have become important elements of our lives. And the educational process should not stop even during the war,” the ministry says.
