Ukraine begins cooperation with Korea, within the framework of which an innovative technology park will be built in Buch. The project called Bucha Tehno Garden will become a pilot in the master plan of the national recovery of Ukraine, reports Bucha City Council.

Bucha Tehno Garden was planned to be built as early as 2021: it was to be created on the territory of the Bucha terriorial community, the park with an area of almost 3,500 hectares was supposed to cover several settlements – Bucha, Vorzel, Blystavytsa, Myrotske and other.

The existing industrial park Myrotske and the international airport Antonov were included in the master plan of the park. The territory should be divided into clusters:

  • transport and logistics;
  • medical;
  • scientific and educational;
  • IT cluster;
  • industrial;
  • technology;
  • resort sanitary and residential buildings.

Taras Shapravskyi, secretary of Bucha City Council, last year wrote that in total the park should create about 86,000 new jobs. Currently, Buchi City Hall is also planning to build a factory for the production of Korean buses with investment funds.

“Also, we are considering the development of the IT cluster, since it is the IT industry that provides the highest added value in the world. This is our chance to move to a new qualitative level of economic development, and the personnel potential allows us to do so,” said Taras Shapravskyi.
