Sony has introduced the Backbone One – PlayStation Edition controller, a mobile controller for iPhone users. It is essentially a licensed variation of Backbone One from the American company Backbone, specializing in the production of gaming products for Apple devices.

Backbone One – PlayStation Edition is made in the design of the DualSense gamepad for PlayStation 5 and is intended to play PS4 and PS5 games on iPhone using the application PS Remote Play. Of course, this controller can also be used in mobile games from the Apple App Store that support this type of control (Genshin Impact, Fantasian, Call of Duty: Mobile, etc.).

The proprietary Backbone application offers additional integration with PlayStation services — new releases, updates, and more.

Backbone One – PlayStation Edition: Sony’s licensed iPhone controller

Backbone One – PlayStation Edition is powered by the iPhone, so it does not need additional charging. The controller can already be purchased on the manufacturer’s website for $99.99 ( the same as the regular black Backbone One that was released in 2020).
