KIA promises to show the updated cross hatchback XCeed on July 18. And it fuels interest in the presentation with branded sketches of the future debutante.
External changes can hardly be called revolutionary, but they are quite noticeable: new graphics of headlights and lanterns, a modified front bumper, an original insert on the rear bumper, new wheels. Look carefully at the photos and compare the updated KIA XCeed car with the existing model.
But technical changes are expected at the level of a revolution: after all, the KIA XCeed model should receive two hybrid versions at once. First, the so-called “mild hybrid” based on a 1-liter 3-cylinder turbo engine. Second, a PHEV-hybrid with a 1.6-liter naturally aspirated engine, an electric motor, and an 8.9 kWh battery. The latter will make it possible to cover 60 km only on electric drive. At the same time, the total power of the power plant will reach about 140 “horses”.
Which of these predictions will come true, and which will turn out to be only “desired, but invalid” we will find out very soon: we are waiting for July 18!
